Ingredients
For the Cookie Crust:
- 2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips
For Topping (Optional):
- ¼ cup melted chocolate (for drizzle)
- ½ cup whipped cream
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Crust
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Press the chocolate chip cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Assemble & Bake
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled cookie crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Step 4: Add Toppings & Serve
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the cheesecake.
- Add whipped cream or extra chocolate chips if desired.
- Slice and enjoy!

✔ For a thicker New York-style cheesecake, use 24 oz cream cheese and add 1 extra egg.
