  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

For Topping (Optional):

  • ¼ cup melted chocolate (for drizzle)
  • ½ cup whipped cream

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  3. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
  3. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 3: Assemble & Bake

  2. Bake for 50-55 minutes, until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle.
